I'm watching Fox News right now.. They've been discussing the case of the Supreme Court's decision this morning about the President's power over Guantanamo Bay.. I've never heard such a load of crap in my life. They're asking whether soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq would lose morale if prisoners at Gitmo were released, and other such crap. Are these people serious? Over the last ten minutes Fox has managed to make the Supreme Court sound like the absolute worst people in the world. And their idiot members of the crowd aren't any better with their ridiculous questions.

Snow is talking right now.. This is the only good news I've seen come out of this issue in a long time, and might be the first steps to fixing the mess.. However Fox is making it sound ridiculous.

God damn Supreme Court! Aiding the enemy! Destroying America! Killing babies and engaging in sodomy!

An out-of-control judiciary, I tell ya!

That's basically what they're saying.

They're questioning whether the Supreme Court was right in the decision because these people do not "deserve" the rights that American citizens have.

Well, I guess you can't expect much else from the administration's media mouthpiece.

Fox/rabid conservatives are just pissed off that the Supreme court slammed Bush over the military tribunals and denied his request ...it's against the geneva accords and US law ..so shut it you ****ing raving idiots (fox/conservatives)

Well of course they don't deserve the same rights as American citizens! They're in jail for a reason!

...[/sarcasm]

Perhaps it might of been random internet noise, but wasn't there some notion doing the rounds that the Bush Administration was aiming to create a higher level court above the supreme court? No doubt full of Neo Cons who would be more than happy to push through more right reducing judgements.
