Is it fair to call the GTA 4 series the diamond saga? cus' the theme of all the GTA4 games was how the diamonds that ****ed everything up for everyone in those game who ever wanted 'em, the chief who sold 'em to Tony, got his head cut off, Tony got the diamonds stolen from him and lost his abusive boyfriend in the process, Johnny (the biker) lost close friends due to ray wanting the diamonds with the help of Niko, Luis Lopez stole the diamonds back and so on.
The message of the games seems to be that if you want to be greedy, you're gonna loose a few people along the way.
