Is it just me or are Ubisoft games getting violent.

I mean just compare Splinter Cell 3 to the first two: Now you can break peoples necks, cut their throats, whereas before all you could do is gun whip them (mmmmmm, gun whip).

And Prince of Persia 2, no more sissy absorbing your enemies. Now we're cutting of heads and limbs.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the violence train.
 
Yes...but they went and turned Ghost Recon 2 into Tom Clancy's SOCOM...bastards!

I feel your pain man...I feel your pain. I honestly feel very betrayed by RSE for allowing this to happen. They've taken the preimere tactical gaming franchise and completely wrecked it to appease the general masses.

Heck, even most of the XBox Ghost Recon fans are pissed at them for it too because to them, it's no different than SOCOM.

Ubi has been doin' really good lately... it's too bad their online shit is so terrible.

Yeah I know girl :naughty:, I mean the saddest thing as SFLUFAN said, is that some of the XBOX players are pissed, I mean even some of the stupidest XBOX players (NO I AM NOT SAYING XBOX PLAYERS ARE DUMB, JUST THE ONES I AM REFERENCING TO IS WHICH I KNOW PERSONALLY) are mad about it.
 
Don't remind me of how they are butchering GR2, it makes me want to cry :( I was so excited when I heard about it...I even knew one of the designers before he had to move to work on the game, but it seems the game got ruined anyway...

But now i dont get it... Full Spectrum Warior is supposed to be the competition for Soccomm, isn't it?

you know.. they could change teh name to GR2 today, to something else.. something completely different,and say they are just not going to make the game...

then publish it under this new game and now one would even notice it's supposed to be the sequel to Ghost REcon.. sad but true
