is it just me or is the hub/hud in CS:S WAY TOO BIG and is it just me or do the player models look like apes? (head is forward a bit too much)

also...they way they move isnt..real.

The higher the resolution the smaller the hud

The ape looking models are representing them slightly crouching, like you would when your running with a shouldered firearm. And the movements are pretty realistic. You're just used to CS.

One thing I've found is that the hostages look rather big tho - I know it's just because the players are crouched slightly, but still ... they do look like giants thru my PCs eyes
