To cry for a dead person you never really knew?

Then again, this just might be the alcohol.

yeah, another death of a human being i suppose :(

but i never have before...

i sometimes get sad in cases like Ken Bigley etc..

Yeah, I would say its pretty normal.
By any chance are you talking about the Pope?

never been to a funeral, althought i've seen a little kid in a coffin, wasn't a pleasent sight.

edit: i never cried :s

Pretty much...

I just came in about an hour ago. I was the the pub getting shit-faced (as I usually do) until I caught the last tram home. Earlier tonight, my friend got a call from his girlfriend and she was crying over the phone, saying something terrible had happened, but she was too hysterical to say what exactly it was. We went back to drinking, disregarding the outburst as typical female hormones (this is far from the first time a girl has burst out in tears for the most trivial of bullshit).

But now I've gotten home and I've heard from my brother that the girlfriend's sister had died. She apparently went off a cliff while skiing. And now I can't help but feel like a complete asshole for disregarding the pain of a girl... no, a ****ing sister... that lost her younger sibling. For all those hours she was crying, I was off joking about dicks and actors and music and getting pissed...

But what's hit me the most is that this girl was only 15.

15, for God's sake.

What absolute ****ing waste of life.

I've never lost any human close to me, only my cat which was 17, same age as me which i grew up with. Cats are my favourite pet by far, and i cried when she was taken from me, i don't care what people think, she meant alot me. :(
No human likes death unless you are some satanist. Shows you have emotion and that you care. Blubber away my friend.

^I had to trick my cat into a cage so i could take him to be put to sleep
I had him pretty much my whole life
It didn't really bother me..

I'd cry if tr0n died, but thats about it.
You people are weird.

Ohhhh, so your not talking about the Pope. BTW I cried when my cat died too. (but I was only 6) :(

If you didn't I would come back and get medieval on your ass.

Also it's natural to cry about stuff like that...So no worries Ab.

Again, this may just be my intoxication. I hardly even know this girl.

But, as I said, she was only 15. Nobody deserves to die that young. It's such a waste of potential in life. And just imagining that thought brings me to tears.

Well there you go, you see now why it made you upset, i can't see anything wrong with that. Its an awful story you've told us, and you said you feel bad cos you've been joking around all night. Well you didn't honestly know. If you did know you wouldnt have done it right? So you are a good human being for tonight. Remeber though thousands of people die every day, but we have to try and distance ourselves from those they don't affect us our we'd hurl into depression. This is a sad story but don't let it rest on your mind.

Chill out pal. Like you said nobody deserves to die, especially at such a young age.

Intoxication brings about our true feelings. Take it easy ...ok

I've only cried at the death of others twice, George Harrison and Robert Plant's talent

I think I'm going to grab some whiskey and drink myself to sleep tonight. I feel like such a stupid insensitive prick.

I'm going to request that this topic gets closed, since it's only going to later be filled with my stupid ****ing irrational drunk feelings on this.

**** me **** me **** me **** me **** me **** me **** me **** me **** me

how can 'god' take such a life. if there is a god. :(

I cried a little when I was burying my cat, because I never really expected that cat to die while I was still around the house, and I really loved it :(

But yes Absi, it's perfectly normal. A very nasty situation and series of events indeed.
