I know this is a stupid question but I think I've seen someone do it before so I figured I'd ask t3h smart people.

Is it possible to capture footage from Half Life 2 on Xbox without having a video camera (Because I don't want to use it) and without having an Internet connection and without having to buy the PC version?

Dunno if this still works, but I know that in the past, if you had a system wired up through your VCR, you could record everything by simply putting in a tape and hitting record. So yeah, you can record it... but onto a VHS

If you had a capture card or TV card with the inputs you could probably record on your PC.

You can probably find some weird connection cable that will allow you to transfer data from the video out on the xbox to your computer/graphic card.
