Is it safe to keep it at these speeds?

Hey,
Today using ATI Tool i overclocked my ATI X800 Pro to 520/550... it gave me a big boost in performance with Half-Life 2 getting 86 FPS on 1280x1024 Ultra-High 4xAA 4x AF instead of 72 on the same settings... also doom 3 jumped from 29 to 36... so im asking is it safe to keep my card running at these speeds (BTW i've found no artifacts or anything so its not messing up image quality)

edit... ok that was weird... i ran the stress test again and the comp crashed so i re-booted and the card was reset to 475/450... was that crash card related?

If it crashed then it's not safe. It seems ATI Tool reset the speeds on the card, so its card related. Try loweing the core down a bit and run 3DMARK03 or 05 for like 1 hour and see if it crashes or freezes if it doesnt then its all good.

Try running at 510 core 530 memory and see if it crashes again.
