i recently got ahold of a copy of CS:CZ. i played the standard game, it was OK, very much the same as the first (though the AI was pretty damn good). what i was suprised with was the deleted scenes, this is what they should have focused there energy on. they were on the right track, why did they can it??? i like the way its layed out, more like half-life, it could have used more stealth to make it more like CS, (mind you i have only played the first few sections so far)
it had new models \ textures, completely new enviroments, not just the redone ones in the main game. i dont know why they didnt go with it, spent the extra time on the deleted scenes. it could have been awsome, a great fill in for the wait for hl2
all they need is to combine the two, maybe CS2 will take the cake
what are your opinions, anyone else see what i see???
