Is it true that SK get out of doing national service as they play counterstrike for theyre country , if its true its a sad state of affairs ;/

Haha... I don't think that playing CS is a valid reason for not doing the national service. On the other hand, not many people do it at all these days.. pussies.

Edit: if you by "national service" mean military service, otherwise I just misunderstood the whole deal :|

Sweden does have an army, if thats what national service means. We made the JAS 39 Gripen(Gryphon) plane the most advanced fighter jet to date ffs . However SK does not get out of serving in the army couse of CS i can guarantee you that..however its not very hard to skip millitary service here since we are cutting down on our army now which sucks..

I heard that Sweden is going to have no army in a few years, they are going to abolish it, I personally think that that would be sweet.

Sweden is gradually changing the full scale invasion defence of the 70's to a much smaller organization with elements such as rapid response units adapted to international efforts.

Sweden has national service. But nowadays almost no one has to do it... not that they want to.. I guess they don't want to become men :|
My national service was one of the best experiences I've ever had.
