I currently have a 350W Antec power supply. I know that 350W isn't much, but would it be sufficient to run a system like this?

Asus mobo without SLI or RAID
1 Gig of RAM
GeForce 6800GS
60 GB 5400 RPM ATA Hard drive
80 GB SATA150 Hard drive
DVD-ROM
CD-ROM
small PCI sound card
ethernet card

Right now I am using it to run everything except the SATA hard drive. Also, I have a 9800xt instead of the 6800 GS. Will the new video card and extra hard drive put a strain on it? Please be honest and don't tell me to buy something that I don't really need. I'm on a tight budget. Thanks

its enough to run that you definatly need a better psu is you plan to upgrade that card though

it will run, but I'd recommend getting a larger one.

Yup. I got my 500w Ultra for 80 bucks, and I love it to death. It has not failed me.

Depends on how many amps are on the +12V rail for the powersupply. If it's at least 20+ amps then I think you would be fine with a 350 watt.

Watts isn't everything because the power could be put on any of 3 rails (+3.3v, +5v, +12v) and if the power isn't where you need it then it won't do you any good. With that said try this.
You always want a powersupply with more watts than what these tell you because they are averages and they also don't tell you how many amps you need on each rail.

TAGAN do very good PSU's..http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Tagan.html

I'd upgrade it if I were you, you might be able to manage it but I'm not sure.

If it's antec chances are it's fine. That is rather iffy though. You should definately upgrade as an insuficient PSU can do lot's of damage to your comp. Namely reset it randomly, under perform and even destroy parts in your comp. It would be a good idea to upgrade.
