Is Steam the fastest way to get the benchmark?

Or will it be an easy download to get all over the net mirrored a million times? I have a feeling the benchmark and gold announcement are the same day and possibly by this weekend. Yes, I am back "yo-yo'ing" my opinion on the release

didn't we just read an interview saying the benchmark will be released sept. 30th... btw i don't think it'll be released via steam but that's just my two cents

Well I read something about it just being initially released to the Press....would say though give it 24 hours and it is bound to be all over the Internet

Good points and you are probably right. Media gets it today and then we are stuck waiting until the end of the month? That would make some people unhappy. I never go for leaks or illegal betas (ala Halo) but for the benchmark I would be tempted....

can't wait myself, firiging squad said that the video they used for the benchmark would be aviable on steam.
