Is there a possibility that Valve could become Bungie?

We all know about Bungie. They were the Mac community's gaming pride and joy. They were making Halo for the PC and all the PC gaming fans were ecstatic, it was an (semi) amazing game for the time.

Then it was an X-Box exclusive and wouldn't ever come to the PC, instead They got a taste of what profits a hit console title could bring in. They are making Halo 2 and there's no doubt they've abandoned the PC until later ports in trade for the X-Box.

When Half-Life 2 goes to the console ther's not much of chance that this can happen, but still. For one H-L is a PC Gaming legend, many console fans know little of it and have no fondness for the company. That's in the PC's favor. H-L will be a sure hit on the PC and unless you have a hit on a console, the profits that come from a sales aren't nearly as impressive when compared to console hits like Halo and GTA3. What's your opinion?

It was comeing out on PC.... then got shoved over to Xbox, whats all this about mac

I'll be getting both versions, because the Xbox version might have extra levels like the rumored "Gay Factory" and "Permiscuous Teleportation". :)

i need money for all these dumb new systems

They're not dumb systems, they're just misunderstood. I kind of wonder valve is going down that path, like they got offered too much money to say no, so they're just cutting off a lot of community contact. I doubt it, but it's just an idea.
