We all know about Bungie. They were the Mac community's gaming pride and joy. They were making Halo for the PC and all the PC gaming fans were ecstatic, it was an (semi) amazing game for the time.
Then it was an X-Box exclusive and wouldn't ever come to the PC, instead They got a taste of what profits a hit console title could bring in. They are making Halo 2 and there's no doubt they've abandoned the PC until later ports in trade for the X-Box.
When Half-Life 2 goes to the console ther's not much of chance that this can happen, but still. For one H-L is a PC Gaming legend, many console fans know little of it and have no fondness for the company. That's in the PC's favor. H-L will be a sure hit on the PC and unless you have a hit on a console, the profits that come from a sales aren't nearly as impressive when compared to console hits like Halo and GTA3. What's your opinion?
