Is there a way I can play in third-person view in CS:S?

if you create a server, then goto console and type sv_cheats 1, and then type thirdperson you will get the view. It's really bugged, however.

yup you can play in third person...also its not a bug dekstar....you aren't meant to play in 3rd person mode i believe its only there for the devs. hence 'first person shooter(fps)'

Didn't say it was a bug, I said it was bugged, as in you can clearly see the first person model below the third person model.
If it were a bug, it wouldn't be in the dev console under "thirdperson".

if that doesnt work, try cam_idealyaw 1
