Is there an entity that, when given an I/O command, spawns another entity, say, a item or weapon? Simply put, is there an entity like npc_templete_maker that can spawn other entities not just npcs?

I think its the one used for spawning the props n such. Check the DM map Valve included in its editable form to see how they did it.

You can spawn stuff like that with a point_template, just like npc_template_maker.

I've tried that, its not working. You can spawn any entity with it? If so, I'll try again.
