I rently find my laptophas a CPU-hopping phenomenon, for example, my laptop's CPU is 2.2Ghz, but when i playing Frozen of warcraft, it falls to 285Mhz, or 592Mhz, this caused a problem. my play can't go on.
I can't think through the reason, is there any kind people help me?

Double-click desktop, properties, screen saver, power, in the power scheme, choose Desktop or Always On, save as and save it, apply and OK .
That will rescue your stolen Megahertz.

Good Luck.

hmmmm it might be dropping clock speed becuase it's getting too warm. this is VERY bad....make sure the fan in there is functioning and it isn't clogged with dust....its this a pentium processor?

yeah, it's pentium-4 2.2Ghz,and it happens even I just open my laptop,it's very annoying,,maybe I'll say goodbye to game forever
