Turing 20.

I understand why turing 18 is cool. You can smoke and buy lotto ticktes. And then there is 21 where you can gamble (which is weird cuz i thought you could gamble at 18) and buying drinks. But what is so important about 19...or even 20.

I ask because today is my 20th birthdaym and I cant really think or anything special to do. There is the dinner with family and friends, but I cant go get wasted and in most places of Cali I cant go waste money on gambling. What is is there are any, good things about turning 20?

Birthdays seem stupid for me other than the free reason to have a party. Like on my 16th birthday, I sat on my ass... all day. It was good.

Nothing. Sorry.

The older you get the more these things seem pointless. My last birthday (23 last month), I invited a few people over and we did absolutely nothing but shoot the shit, have a little barbeque, watch stuff on youtube and reminesce about things we did when we were younger, as kids.

Yeah, they seem pointless when you run out of things to tell ppl you want, and ask for money?

Funnily enough, my work is sending me away on my birthday, to show people how a piece of software works, after one of my colleagues has given a lecture.

Well, you're no longer a teenager. *shrugs*

Shoot the shit? lol what does that mean?

For some reason drugs come to mind.

Me wonders why i didn't do that to begin with.

thx though:D

When you turn 20 it is finally legal to go cow tipping. Have a blast.

Oh God... Will somebody please think of the cows?! D:

Stay away from the cows.

I'm not too worried though, as cow tipping is a myth.

!D:

What if I turn off the music in which it dances to?

That would throw off its equilibrium, which would give you a fair chance... but you'd still have to contend with the massive weight.

Happy birthday. Unfortunately it's all downhill from 18, as you probably found out last year.

Good luck

I'm 17 in two weeks. Driving. Watch out Britain. :cheese:

Then 18 the year after, although most things that require being 18 I can do anyway (getting served at pubs, bars, off lisences; buying 18 certificate films, and seeing them at the cinema; buying underwear at Ann Summers)

Upcoming B-day is bad for me, making me 20 and my gf 16 :(

Well over here in HK, pretty much everything is accessible once you turn 18 ...

Smoking, drinking, gambling, etc.

So there's no real point in turning 20 except getting physically older here. :|

My next birthday is 18. Boo yah :farmer:
What is the date of your birthday?

I must know so I can see if I'm older and if I am i will feel Special.
I know I'm already special, the people at the hospital tell me all the time.

I asked the same question on some other thread, but forget which one so if anyone answered I wouldn't have seen it >.>

Turned 21 yesterday and everyone keeps bugging me to do something... keeping in mind it'd just be me and a few friends, and I've already had a quiet dinner sort of thing earlier while another friend was over from abroad... so hmm. *shrugs*

I've never done this, but I have done sheep un-tipping.

Was out hiking years ago in the scouts, and there was a sheep on its back, and it couldn't get up. (I could tell cos there was a halo of dirt where it had eaten all the grass in reach, and the pile at the other end was huge.) So I tipped it upright. Always wondered how it got like that in the first place though.
