I went to:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/games/gameadvisor/default.mspx

To check out just for fun if The Sims 2 will work on my computer and when my comp is fully analyzed it says:

Unfortunately we were unable to identify some hardware components of your system, and therefore it is not possible to provide accurate performance analysis.

Ok, can it mean that I don't have everything installed? Sims 2 is lagging on my comp even though I have well above the requirements.

Same thing happened to me...don't worry about it. Maybe you need to update your drivers.

I have latest mobo drivers, graphic drivers and I think latest sound drivers. Are there any more?

Are you talking about a website that analizes your system? Because if you are you have to use the correct browser, same thing happened with me and the EQ2 analyze thing on their webpage. I had to use IE instead of firefox for it to work.

When I go to it there are 5 things it lists with a check box.
CPU model/speed
Graphics Card
Amount of Memory
Free Disk Space and
OS

Not really sure why it wouldn't detect all of the components needed.

It won't let you use firefox but when I tried it didn't say that msg.
It said:
"Internet Explorer 6 required

Windows XP Game Advisor requires the use of the Windows 98/ME/2000/XP operating system and the Internet Explorer 6 browser. "
