Is this a good idea?

I thought this was a good idea, but since I wouldn't like to abuse my moderator powers, I thought I'd ask you lot what you think of it. If the result is in my favour by a large margin, then I will do it, but if you think its a bad one, I won't do it. Okie, heres the idea:

A Sticky thread entitled 'Games/mods news and reviews' where everyone can post stuff like that, to make up for the loss of the General Gaming forum. It would just be for that, no discussion. Hope you like the idea.

It isnt exactly a bad idea, though I would prefer a general gaming forum... A forum is after all for discussion. News you dont need to go here for.

hmm woteva it doesnt matter if u dont like it dont go into the thread i suppose.. seems like a ok ish idea but i wouldnt bother with it

i think u mis-understood ... i meant that people in the forums dont have to look in the sticky thread if they dont want to
