Is this a virus?

Well, whenever I go to empty my recycle bin a display box pops up saying "Are you sure you want to delee 'WINDOWS'? Is this caused by a virus or what, because explorer shows nothing in the recycle bin.

That does sound odd... Is that the exact sentence (obviously not, unless the maker of the virus has mispelled delete )? Just do a search on it.

thanks, it is indeed a virus, the hanta virus. I'm taking care of it now.
