Is this email real or not?

Does anyone know of a website where you can check if an email is real or a hoax. I got an email from a [email protected] but it is adresses to a Mr Huges.
I am not Mr Huges. I think the email is false because it is very vague but I would just like to know if there is a website I can check this out on. And if someone is using my email adress to do things that is in question I would like to notify microsoft.
I made my gmail account so I do not get spam and I wouldnt be worried about opening it up infront of friends parents or at school and having to delete 30 spam messages.
Usually I would think twice befor deleting this email but the email adress does seem legit.

Changing the sender address on a email is easy. Treat it as normal junk mail.

ya I verified its false. I was scared for a second but im ok now.

Mods can delete this if they want now.

I do remember hearing of a website though where they listed all of the email fakes on the internet. It had the email adresses and the contents of the letters, so you could check if it was real or not.

Dead email address too, which is good because Microsofts legal departments would have had 2 messages with 'Egg' 20 times in each.
