Is this game using Souce Engine By any chance

Its not Source. It looks like the Painkiller engine, but its something they developed called the DS2 Engine. Slightly more info here.

Kinda looks like the engine Serious Sam 2 used. Whatever that is.
Hard to tell. Doesn't it say on You Are Empty's website?

EDIT: VictimOfScience got it :P Read his post wrong. Yeah, its their own engine, called DS2

Due to new DS2 Engine the game introduces a high level of details and realism.

Didn't look anything like soruce to me... The game did look awesome, though.

Yeah, it looked pretty cool. Never heard of it or anything about it. Says on the site it was released 2005 too, so apparently its already out :O

"cool"?

that game looks like a steaming pile of shit. Don't even get me started.

You Are Empty looks great. I heard about this game at E3 05, but nothing new has come out about it. They're using an in house engine and you can find them at Digital Spray.

Game is set in an alternate-reality where crazy experiments were being conducts on people, which caused them to turn into monsters.

yea, it LOOKS like source engine, but it definitelly doesnt.
souce engine is famous because of light and shadow effects and great object physics.
those enemies were terrible- looked terrible and whey the player killed them, they felt down in the same way as in hl 1: on their backs.
it just cant be source.

Yeah it reminded me more of HL1 than source...

Let's see, shitty animations, shitty guns, shitty sounds, shitty ragdolls, shitty enemies popping out of nowhere, shitty environment, shitty subpar physics...

yep, steaming pile of shit.

theotherguy: exactly
i dont like it at all... and they used to call it next-gen...
