Ive heard that when you get a new graphics card you should reformat to make sure all old drivers etc are out...one guy stated he had problems going fomr nvidia to ATI and his graphics card was showing low performance until he reformated and started all over. I dont want to have to reformat if (when) i get a new graphics card
 
You don't have to reformat, there are plenty of tools for getting rid of old drivers. Use that one Asus gave you, it'll get rid of all your old drivers and you'll be fine. What card are you getting?
 
dont know yet, possibly the 6800 GT...but just for future reference i wanted to know another way to get rid of drivers
