No...This isn't a pointless thread. Although I am having trouble figuring out the day.

Anyway, you ever get the feeling that you are going mad? Not just figuratively speaking or anything like that...I actually mean, losing a grip on reality. For the past month or so I've felt it coming on, and the fact that I didn't sleep the night before last just tipped me over the edge so to speak. I'm really finding it hard to concentrate on the real world...

Its, really rather odd. Its not a bad feeling as such, but its like there is a part of my brain making me focus on the real world, only...its not gripping so hard now.

A gaming forum is probably not the best place to discuss this but I really do feel strange...

Um.. What?

I guess this site does this to you...

you changed your sleeping habit right? throughout the summer you've been going to bed later and later and waking up later in the day? have you gone back to your school sleep schedule?

Haha, couldn't you just check your system clock?

About that crazyness thing, you could try drugs!

Actually my sleeping patern has been pretty regular throughout the summer, and has changed by about an hour maybe since leaving collage.

This wasn't about the day, that was simply a title...

I've turned into a halfwit over the summer, ask me anything about chemistry/biology/anything academic and i'll have to check things three times before giving you an answer :/

I am going crazy from no A/C, I can only use my good PC for like an hour then I have to switch to a bad one to let this one cool down.

Hmmm yeah because it's quicker to start a thread to ask what day it is than it is to double click in the bottom right of the screen :|

I didn't go to bed lastnite so I'm pretty messed up atm... but my reality doesnt take much concentration... I know how you feel anyway, concentration just drifts all the time and doing the simplest thing is hard... I think i've got undiagnosed ADD or something like that... either that or i'm seriously lazy and uninterested in anything any more.

...

have you been eating 3 meals a day? I get dizzy sometimes when I'm hungry

if it persists it could be an inner ear thing ..do you get vertigo?

Actually you smartarse, my clock is centred at the top of the screen :P But this thread isn't about the day...That was just a title.

Yeah stern, I've been eating properly. I suspect is largely because I've spent an awful lot of time in my room. Its just weird though...Like when you just aren't sure what is going on around you.

maybe the carpet in the room is emmitting noxious fumes causing you to hallucinate :E

how much excerise are you doing?

and do have anything to do so to speak.

Peoples peception of time blurs if they do the same thing over and over again. If yesterday was the same thing as today then you'll confuse memories and such. School is great for regimenting you and working out what day it is or you'll bring the wrong stuff in. Work can be good if you have regular meetings at set times. Sitting in your room doing the same thing over and over again will have an effect on your peception of time.

Course I have a similar thing in I have a deadline monday and I'm working yet I don't feel I've done 20% of the work yet and its thursday already! I want my three day back :(

Yeah I ride my bike every night at 11 for 2 hours (sometimes its later than 11 sometimes eariler)
I have a job as well, but during the week I mostly sit about not doing much. I have plans for quite a few things but, I simply can't do them until next week when I get paid, which is when I start college anyway.

I know what you mean about doing the same thing over and over...Thats why a lot of people say time seems to be moving fast because everything they have done has blurred together so much. Like, when I look back at school. I can't remember every English lesson, but I can remember what "English" was like and some of the more standout events.

dude maybe its all that tainted mad cow beef over there... Eat many burgers do ya? Your brain could be eating itself :(

(sarcasm, maybe)

Yeah, we have a lot of mad cows here...In fact, all out meat is contaminated with something :O

At least...according to american airport secuity :P

lol really??? What your not allowed to bring an english burger on the plain over? Hmmm...

Yeah...Someone I know had a sandwhich confiscated because it had beef on it  Its fair enough I suppose.

Although, when I tried to take some bacon over for my brother, they took that as well. I mean, this is bacon that is sold in supermarkets, and is wrapped up in several layers of sealed plastic. Its almost insulting(Well, not really but meh) for them to suggest its contaminated:O...besides, my brother was going to eat it, not only is he from England and most likely already exposed but he isn't exactly going to be fed into the bovine population of America causing any kind of outbreak among farm animals.

How do you know what we feed our cows
[evil laughter] muahahahahamua mua muahahaha [/evil laughter]
So what do you guys actually think about the whole mad cow, vcjd, thing over there? Is it very scary/serious? After all, brain wasting disease sounds pretty freakin' nasty to me. I don't suppose we've had but one case of it here in US (that they've actually told us about)

Well most people don't really care about it since it affected about 2 people anyway. Not only that, but not everyone believes there is even a link. The media quotes experts on the subject saying(Well, they said it years ago now) its dooms day but experts are generally the first person they could find to agree with what they want to put on the news.

Its all in the past now anyway, and the only people inffected were inffected something like 10-20 years ago.

ah i see, well we get a whole different story over here...

Yes.... but then I decided to stop doing drugs, and things went back to normal

what's said about canadian cattle? we had one case of mad cow and the US closed it's border to canadian cattle

Yeah canada also... OMG could you imagine if we americans couldn't have beef... We'd all die. (meh i eat meat, probably shouldn't but who cares) I'm kind of glad they are (pretending?) to crack down real hard. I've heard talk though, that "downer" cattle is still being put into the freakin' feed!!!! How retarded.

ya, downer cattle also makes it to the dinner table sometimes

They should be smart enough to realise that cows are vegetarian by nature, they eat nothing but vegetables and plantlife. Its also documented in humans, that certain cannabalistic tribes are stricken with strange brain wasting diseases. So what do they do? They grid up already sick cattle and feed it to the cattle they they grind up to feed to us... Morons eh?"

yup plus even healthy cows can have a undetectable disease ...so there's often cancerous/infectious material in the mix.

here's a review of a documentary that the cattle industry went to great lengths to surpess "A Cow at my Table" ..I've seen it and it has some very very disturbing footage of treatment of cattle ..if more people saw this video there'd be less people eating meat

Beef tastes much better when the cow has been fed on grass and grain anyway...Although, I wanna try some of that beef from Japan (I think its Japan, but its that part of the world anyway) where they do things like give them beer and massage them....possibly, with beer. Its supposed to be really tasty meat :D

I saw a slaughterhouse once....It wasn't nice, not nice at all. But that didn't turn me off meat in the slightest :D In fact, even before that, I always used to imagine what I was chewing once ran around a field quite happily before some guy rammed a spike through its brain.

I don't think anything'll turn me off meat.. I try and make sure I only eat freerange animals and freerange eggs, since I don't agree with the way they're treated otherwise.. but I won't turn vegatarian, ever. We're omnivores by nature, so omnivorous I shall be! :D

So...You want animals to be treated quite nice, giving them a little hope that they might just have landed into the good life...At least, up until the point where they are torn apart in the most horrble way?
And what does an egg need to be free range for? Honestly I don't know

;)

dw farrow, im sure you always were insane. Try playing more computer games :D.

You know you're insane when you look at a wall and think 'hmm nice bumpmapping'.

That's just about it, yeah ;)

Freerange eggs come from healthy, non-drugged up chickens :E

:P

It's all the same no matter where the Hell it comes from... mmmmmm, foooood....

the video shows a half-dead diseased cow dragged up a ramp and put into the arbitoir ...this is illegal ..all cattle must be healthy enough to stand on it's feet in order for it to be consumed by humans ...lets see:

chickens: on many farms chickens have their beak tips cut off at birth because conditions are so crowded that they often kill each other in the holding pens

pigs: some farms, pull out the two front teeth of their pigs and cut off their tails ...pigs have been known to eat each other after a fight to the death

well, the bank holiday messed up my timing. i keep thinking it's tuesday today :(

Of course. There was me thinking that you just let the eggs roll around the grass for a while.

;)
