Is Valve the developer behind this game?

I just want to know if Valve is developing this game or not? Im asking because the game looks pretty good, and I want to play it before year 2010 without being held hostage, lies, delays +++++.

Valve aren't developing it, Troika Games are developing it using the Source engine they licensed from Valve.

well some time ago they said the game is practically ready but im guessing that all the engine bugs they iron out of hl2 they have to do the same with bloodlines.

You are funny, half the development was developing the source engine. So I mean if they didn't have to do that, it would've been out sooner. Doubtful VUG is holding HL2 hostage, that would be dumb of them. Lies?? Things don't go always as planned in a developer and delays happen, but they never gave a date besides Sept 30th, so its all good.
