Yeh, lately my life has been awesome. Sure i've done hundreds of pages in coursework, and i've got a few exams comming up. but apart from that life is awesome. I live at home for free, all my food etc is payed for. Soon i'll have 3 months off in which i can get a job and get some money in. I have the best girlfriend ever <3.

Today i'm going to see her. She'll make me happy

almost finished with my first year in medical school. whew. well, i still have three weeks, but hey, i have survived.

On a bittersweet note, I saw a girl I dated at the beginning of the semester at a charity ball last night. oh my gosh, she took my breath away. the most beautiful creature i have ever kissed. Sure i'm a little sad she broke it off with me, but wow. i am keeping a mental picture of that for a long, long time.

I'll tell you what made me smile today. I was outside on a bright sunny afternoon, clear blue skies, getting a bit of a tan (not purposefully, ofc)

I hear the distant rumble of a rolls royce merlin engine. Shocked, I look to the skies. Amazingly, from over the horizon, comes a low flying Supermarine Spitfire, flying in formation with a Hawker Hurricane, and they fly right overhead. An absolutely amazing sound, sight and experience. In that moment I watched in awe as these beautiful machines soared past, and thought of how much we owe to their existance.

I smiled, as I imagine anyone would, having witnessed such an event.
