So far it's a bit manipulated - the workers weren't stoned (did the editor actually know what the term "stoning" means?) and these weren't not settlers, but their kids.

Also, I find the video at least a bit set up - we are shown only the moment that the kids start throwing rocks and water at the workers, not what has led to this. Plus, despite signs of aggression, the HRWs decided not to withdraw, but instead went deeper into the neighbourhood, following the kids.

I do not condone of such behaviour and I find the reaction of the soldier at least troubling, however, the behaviour of the workers is also far from logical.

You're right, it doesn't have anything on leaps of logic. It does, however, have a few pages on "reading between the lines", which is towards the end of the chapter on "connecting the dots". Just because you didn't come out and say it doesn't mean you didn't say it, if you catch my drift.
