Hello, I seem to have some wierd issue with the stress test, normally there should be blocks with some cool effects here, I bet most of you have already seen them.

I know what you're gonna say "Try reinstalling CS" or "Check if the gcf files to see if they are corrupt".

Well, I've already tried uninstalling Steam and deleted the folder that was left after the uninstallation. Then I tried reinstalling and updating everything but I still got the same problem.

And do also note that it has worked for me before on this computer.

Speccs:

Motherboard: MSI K8T Neo2
Processor: AMD Athlon64 3500+ 64bit
Graphics card: Connect3D X800XT Platinum Edition
Memory: Corsair 1024MB CL 2.5

It's God's way of saying "You know what? I really hate you."

Validated? :upstare:
I own the Collector's Edition.
I can't update anything unless I have it validated.

Same here, valve pulled those models from the game or something(already emailed it to em) The model textures went mia one day in hammer as wel.
Oh and I bought hl2 from steam.

Say what!? That's so cruel! I want my money back!!! :sniper:

I never really like saying this, but, it would be nice if you used the search feature. This is the 4th time I post in a thread about this problem. Everyone has this problem, the update before the last one caused it, no need to worry about it.

I dont really find the Search Option a rather successful method of gaining the information you want in a forum, first hand experience. Many have said so.

So you're saying that its ok for people to create a thread for evey little problem regardless of it being dicussed before in about 7 other threads? I searched this problem and there are enough threads about it to get a good understanding of the problem.

No point in arguing over it lads, and all you are doing and i now realise that i am doing it too, is making the the thread longer than it needs to be.
