It says im Hosting a LAN Game ???

Hey there people. im having a problem with my hl2:deathmatch.

Me and my friend (who lives around a mile away) are trying to play in a game together.

It works fine when connecting to another server but creating my own stops him from connecting.

When i make a server and he tries to connect. he gets the message: "LAN servers are restricted to local networks" or something like that.

I dont know why he cannot join ????

Try typing sv_lan 0 in the console.

If that doesnt work straight away, type net_start afterwards.

It worked fine he can now join...

... but ...

... I cant move ?!



It just wont let me move at all ?

or change weapon but itll let me spin the camera ??

Any help would be greatkly appreciated.
