It's Arrived!

So I was woken up at 7:30 this morning... my new PC had been delivered!

I've never had a really good PC for gaming etc, so was so excited.

What can I do/play/run to test it? Anyone got any links or know anything I can run to test this beast?

More like 7500points with a 7800gt, 8000+ for a 7800gtx. My 7800gt is overclocked to 470/1220 with a Dualcore Athlon64 running at 2.7ghz and got 8124.

Nice - what kind of monitor do you have (what resolutions does it support)? It's time you began playing games in HD. Most games support 1600x1200 max, but try Half Life 2 at something higher. Play Doom 3 at 60FPS. The best benchmark I had when I got my system was turning everything up all the way on all my games. That was (and is) fun.

Note: the F.E.A.R. demo can be graphics-intensive. Try that (good game, too).

he's got 2gigs of RAM and an athlon 4800
i've seen less well spec'd systems score better than 7500
