well its thursday and its valves favorite day except tuesdays of course and the available bandwith has gone up to 11 500 mbs which is a significant increase so i guess they might have upped the bandwith either for tuesday or something else, i hope HL:S comes out soon as i only have the bronze package and i am going to wait until its released to decide wheather or not to upgrade to the silver package

EDIT: i think also if they were to release HL:S before Half life 2 it would get everyone really hyped for tuesday

I always thought that reading the bar graphs on Steam was like reading tea leaves or the innards of barn animals to determine the future... But it seems like everyone looks at the graphs to determine updates and such so... I guess I'm wrong.

yeah you can read into the graphs to see when there is an update such as dips in the graph where the data is being loaded onto the content servers or a increase in bandwith can also be a sign but it not always right its just a matter of reading the patterns in the graph

Now if I were VALVe (and I am not, or I would have already played HL2 ), then I would release HL:S tonight, to get everyone hyped for the release of HL2, AND to encourage more people holding out for retail to but via STEAM. Of course if I were VALVe, I would have also cooked up a better excuse than a "leak" for the game delay, but oh well..... At least we get to play it in 5 days (unless there is another "leak")!!!
