I had the most excellent snowball fight at school today. About fifty people were all up on the sports field throwing snow, some artillery-style. Afterwards my hands felt non-existent and my hair was full of snow. I also had snow in my ear, which was not pleasant.

Lots fo snow here. I was out last night at about 1 oclock (i always do that when the first proper snow falls) having a snowball fight. I was only in a t-shirt because there was no wind, so it was actually quite refreshing. I made a nice big snowman which fell apart...Today i went sledging with my friend, and when we got tot he top of the hill, the snow was about a foot deep and it was hard to stand up because of the wind. When we stood still for about 5 minutes, we would end up with snow drifts up out legs. I really wish i could have taken my camera, because there were some really surreal moments. At one point it was really weird because the cloud came down right over us and snow wasnt just going sideways, it was going in every direction. It looked like it was snowing up...

snowed about 1.5 inches here on sunday. its now wednesday and still no school.
its becaused all the snow freezed over, so now the ground is a solid block of ice. the sun wont even melt this junk!

no snow over here (houston). although we did get a nasty little storm about a week ago i think. actually i remember it snowing maybe 8 or 10 years ago but no more .

Shoveled snow from 8 am thru 11:30 this morning. Helped a neighbor dig out their cars. I ended up paying a couple of kids to do our driveway. It is a gravel driveway and a pain in the ass to shovel. It was also beautifully plowed in. We definitely got a foot overnight. Shovelled about 2 inches Tuesday night, but either we got a foot on top of that or it all got blown back. Thank god for the power shovel! I never would have been able to do the 80+feet of sidewalks and 20' of a double-wide driveway with my back.
