haven't played it but I can agree with the majority of what was said. Ideas for mario games are running out, and he's right, where can they possibly go after space?
 
I dunno, they gone through time yet? Mario vs Velociraptor with Jetpack and Scissors?

Being a little harsh I think. Nearly all long-running franchises end up being stuck in the same rut with occasional gimmicks.
 
I used to not like these reviews mainly for talking-so-fast-I-can't-understand-what-he's-saying type of thing. Plus he is rude as heck. The more I watch his reviews though, I find the reviews the most truthful.
 
Good stuff. I'm not sure what he was going on about Galaxy being better with a GC pad tho - it's one of the games that benefits most from the Wiimote. He also talks about only crazy hardcore gamers fully completing the game aswell as it being challenging, which suggests he's crap ;)

For the most part I agree, although I do think he is over stating the camera , it really is actually very well done, and I never found myself becoming confused or disoriented.
 
Wasn't he on about smothering the Mario francise last time?
 
Koreans have a tendency to be total hardcore gamers without it detracting from their social life.
Ever seen how much they love Starcraft?

I played galaxy for 30minutes thought it was shit and the wii remote utterly pointless.

Awesomely funny review. Agree with most of it though. I personally like the Wiimote usage just fine.
 
They have tournaments. It's not exactly the least justified stereotype.
 
Another good ep, but nearly as good as some of the other ones.

There's even an International Card Game League. For playing card games like Yu-Gi-Oh or Magic: The Gathering. Life is fun, isn't it?
 
It's supposed to be, yeah.

But, our Industrial attitudes will eventually erode that away completely, again.

Where does any video game go from now?

Mario will always have more scope than 99% of other games because there are no rules to follow. Shrink him, let him run about inside veins of a leaf, or simply have floating platforms and crazy, changing gravity. The only limit is the imagination of the developer.

(I would actually like a painfully tradional 3d Mario next time. SMW taken straight from the snes and made into 3d)
