Well not really yet for me, but soon. Living in north east Italy about 10-15 minutes drive from the nearest ski resort in the alps. Snow usually comes at this time at the year but the last 2 years it has come late december (****ing global warming). There has been snow already but it melts away the next day :(

Anyway, all hl2.net snowboarders, talk about snowboarding, where do you snowboard? What snowboard do you have? Cool stories to share?

I just cant wait till i get to snowboard again!!!! Last season i learned how to jump off ramps etc, this year im gona add tricks to it and try railings etc.

And heres a cool snowboarding vid i found on youtube, just to make you twitch in pain as you would KILL to get on a snowboard this very moment.

Technically Global Warming would make snow more likely, and sooner too, with more extreme weather on both sides.

Can't go snowboarding, because it's England, and it's rare it ever snows, and when it does, there's barely enough for a snowman :(

I haven't gone in over a year....sad

Skiing is much, much better.

i tried skiing once, before i tried snowboarding. Most embarresing day of my LIFE...it was horrible!!! I swore i would never go skiing or anything like it (snowboarding) ever again in my life. Then my dad forced me to go snowboarding and i fell in love.

Besides, this might be kind of a snowboardish-cliche saying but...all skiers are in the way!!! When im trying to go uber fast theres always 10 of you damn skiers infront of me blocking the entire slope, you go from side to side unexpectedly so trying to go past you is suicide cuz you never know when your gona turn. Had this one old man yelling at me when i was at the bottom of the slope, he said something about how i passed him and it was to dangerous...maybe if he had speed up a bit it wouldnt have happened, i almost fell asleep behind him, plowing down the entire slope ffs.

Then learn how to board. If you can't pass some slow old skier then you're not good enough at boarding to be complaining.
I ski and board, though I prefer skiing.

yeah nice vid.

A trailer of my friends' movie.(coming soon)

(why the f are my youtube vids always in the center)

Snowboarding is awesome. I haven't been in some time though.

Hell yes, I'm going up to Vermont for the holidays with me and some friends for snowboarding/ski-trip.

Snowboarding wins. I've been doing it since i was 12 and severely bruised after learning, but i enjoy it much much more than i ever enjoyed skiing.

That's a pretty cool trailer, I liked it.

Also, I've always wanted to snowboard, but never felt I could have the grace required for it.

That trailer was very nice. Props to your friend.
I'm heading to Mont Ste Anne this March Break with a group of friends. Last year we went to Le Massif, which was amazing (highest vertical drop in Canada East of the Rockies), the mountain drops off right into the St Lawrence river so the view is spectacular. And the year before that we hit Tremblant, which was also great but much more tourist oriented than Massif.

I've only gone snowboarding once (there's not really a whole lot of snow around here) and I'm still sore from that shit.
