I've been reading Bone by Jeff Smith

Probably the best Graphic Novel i've ever read, sure it's a kids story but it's genious! I've got 3 of his books now and i'm only half way through 1 and so far it's amazeing =D. Read Bone now!

Bone is incredibly well made. It starts out pretty soft, but after a while it isn't any more of a children's tale than lotr or star wars (which admitedly are tales for young people, if not kids).

It has great humor, great, consistent visuals, and an epic story that spans an impressive 1300 pages whitout ever getting boring.

If your local library has this title you must give it a chance to seduce you, and if you are the kind of person who likes to buy comics you definately should give this series a try. In addition, if you are hard pressed to find suitable gifts for someone in the possible target area (young adults of both genders) look no further. Bone is virtually guaranteed to be a popular gift.

I got my sister the complete one volume edition (a true brick) and she loves it, ofcourse. Unfortunately for you it seems to be completely unavailable online. At approximately 30 bucks it was a steal, but I would say that bone is worth it even for hard-cover.

I read it years ago, a book or two i borrowed from the library. havent seen it since but maybe i was too young to enjoy it in the adult humor sense but i still liked it

read some of bone years ago when it was first released ..promised I'd get the entire set when my son is old enough to appreciate it ..Bone was highly praised by the comics community as well as literary circles

Bone is probably one of the best graphic novels ever. I remember I bought the huge collection of every book, and read it in like a week. Which reminds me, I still have to get it back from my friend.
