Hello my fellow HL friends – I come to you with a slight problem I would suspect one or two of you might have encountered. I think I’ve got worms… in my PC that is. I’m Using Windows XP (ver5.1) and have just connected my – ahem – new PC up to the net… 20 seconds later I’m told of a “LSA Shell” error and subsequently a timer commences giving me 60 seconds before the PC shuts itself off. Somewhere embedding amongst the soil a mysterious file located at “C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exe” is mentioned along with a code – “1073741819.”
Problems only seem to appear once connected online and try and use anything to do with Microsoft.
Finally – I was told to download a Blaster Worm removal tool to get rid of me worm (assuming that it was indeed the Blaster Worm). After using this tool I have had no joy in locating any worms and am now puzzled… Please help… anyone… Oh, and f*** the get who developed this royal pain in the ass too by the way. LOL

hmm yes.. so you cant get rid of it?

i think i have a trojan on my computer
Trojan Horse Starpage1.06 or something is what its called

my brother downloaded Kazaa on this computer (the shite one) and the other one (the l337 one) and this one are connected by a router and are networked, so obviously, the virus got from here to the other computer, strange thing is, its not on this one but on the good computer.

I think it might be the "alsas"(no idea how to spell it but thats how u say it). I remember the bbc saying something about it. Its just a guess really, that coundown thing remided me of it i think.

Do you have a virus scanner? Maybe that would work? Go to google and search Stinger, it's a good program but I don't know if it'll find anything. Geez I dunno.

link

try this, its a free, and very good online virus scanner, usually picks up everything for me, try it out and see what u get.
