I've just gotten into Leeds!

UCAS got back to me today on my application, and they're offering me a place at Leeds to do a joint degree in history and music with three B's - the original offer on the prospectus was AAB so that's ****ing great :D

Anyone go there, know what its like? It's my top choice, I'm going up to visit the campus soon. My next choice is Bath but Leeds has higher entry qualifications and is much bigger with a broader music scene.

Yeah, so if anyone is studying at Leeds Uni, let me know what it's like :)

I've applied for Leeds too for a Chemistry degree, glad to hear its going well for you.:)

Haven't got anything back from any uni's yet, I'm semi-worried.. Have you had any other offers yet?

I've been looking at Lincoln university, might go there in a year or two.
 
I'm not going for university new year, i'm travelling first, then perhaps after. The Mrs wants to go straight to uni, she's been accepted in Bristol and Cambridge for vetinary medicine, but i think she wants to go to RVC (royal vetinary college in london). Exciting times eh?

I'm in loughborough studying computer science at the moment. Its friggin awesome here, nights out are incredible at the union. :cheers:
 
It sucks being a design student since it requires an interview + portfolio to get into these kind of places. You guys just send them a piece of paper with your grades on it...
 
I know a few people who went to Leeds and get loads of stuff stolen the day they got there! But that kind of thing happens everywhere these days.

I've applied for Chemistry degrees too, and I've only had one offer so far. It seems to take ages for Chem.

Uni life is really fun, you'll enjoy it!

Chemistry is a good degree to do, but as a Physics graduate, I must bully you now.

Grats, I was in leeds last december for an archery competition at the Uni Sports place, seemed an ok city from what i saw.

I'm happy with little old Durham tho :P
 
Crazy brits. Here in Canada, we don't get our offers until May. At the earliest. Unless you are uber genious, like me. Har har.

I'm at Lincoln Uni, it's goddamn awesome, but don't come here till I've gone ;)
