I think someone should email him about the racist game

Yeah, death threats are the wrong way to go, but unavoidable when you have such violent games out there influencing our kids. :dozey:

I don't see Mr. Thompson getting much further than Tipper Gore did with her nazi-esque PMRC crusade against heavy metal/rap in the 80s. A different label for games? Big friggin deal. I am over 18 and will be able to virtually kill hookers and cops and have as much virtual sex that I can handle for the rest of my life!

I wish someone would construct a HEV suit and a gravity gun model that you could wear, like an elaborate halloween costume. Someone needs to take one for the team (the gaming community) and actually kill jack thompson with this gravity gun like thing.
 
Dear Mr Thompson.

Why does a small portion of the gamer population make up all of it, in your point of view? Death threats from gamers arn't exactly the most likely to be acted upon. Hundreds of thousands of people receive emails, instant messages like this every day. Why do you take the emails of 6 people more seriously than you do the emails of the people who send you facts, figures, and arguements that aren't things like 'OMG STFU N00b THOMPSON I'M GOING 2 RAPE U 2NITE B3TTER W4TCH OUT!!!!!'. Reply to the death threats with shakespeare, why don't you? Tell them that 'you're apparently the big man in your living room?'. 'Masturbatory self-absorbtion'? Death threats, against you? Send them that.

I'm sure that the people who actively want to kill you, the people who know how to use a keyboard, know the advantage of anonymaty (damnit, can't spell that one...!), remember this. Everything they do. Is masturbatory. Self. Absorbtion.
