HONG KONG (AP) - A movie costarring two of the biggest names in kung fu cinema - Jackie Chan and Jet Li - is nearly a sealed deal, with the only outstanding issue being the script, Chan said Tuesday.

"All the hurdles have been overcome. The only problem left is the script," Chan told The Associated Press after a press conference to promote his new action comedy, "Rob-B-Hood."

"We need a script that he approves and I approve. If that goes well, shooting will start in March or April in Shanghai," he said.

nice, ;)

I thought that recent movie (Fearless) with Jet Li was his 'last' or something ?
Fearless is Jet Li’s final martial arts masterpiece, capping a tremendous body of work in that genre.
Anyway, Jackie Chan is just plain awesome, and Jet Li is also fairly awesome, so I have come to the conclusion that this movie will be super awesome.

I cannot stand Jackie Chan. All he ever, EVER does is ****ing action comedies.

Sweet. I like his movies he has not come out with a movie though for a few years so I am interested to see how it turns out.

Maybe jet-li won't be donig any fighting in this one? :O

blasphemy ! they're freaking awesome.

did any of you ever play 'Jackie Chan's Stuntmaster' - probably the best playstation game, ever.

They're never any good D:

Eh, they are alright. I just can not stand when you can tell most of his movies where filmed in Chinese but then the words where put into English. Just the way their mouths are moving differently than they should be if they would be talking in English bothers me for some reason.

I don't mind them tbh. Clever stunts ftw. But that's as far as it goes.

I actually find that kind of thing hilarious. Bad lipsynching ftw :D

I always enjoyed his hong kong made movies much better than the american ones: Police story is a classic

I watched that recently, the story line was a bit weird.. I mean, the teenagers with the videogame thing.

Well, it's by far not one of my favourite Jackie Chan movies.

Rush Hour ftw.
Though i agree, his early movies were way better.

Let Li > Jackie Chang

Haven't you guys seen "The Kiss of the Dragon"?

I really hope there will be a movie, coz that'd be aweshens.

Jackie Chan is swish, Jet Li on the other hand is a bit of a...<insert insult here>

I'd rather a sequel to Kung Fu Hustle :(

Was I the only one that enjoyed that?

Jackie Chan can be entertaining enough - I like his cartoon series :p

Jet Li is class though...Not the greatest in terms of acting (Danny the Dog was a bit weak) but in terms of skill, it's great to watch!

Also, Zephos...WHY?!?!?! I liked having a dark-side :)

I think both Jackie Chan and Jet Li are over-rated.

Donnie Yen is the man!

I absolutely loved Armour of God and Project A. They were some of Jackie Chan's best films.
