Jamster has corrupted my internets!

I have been seeing a lot of jamster pop ups lately and a couple of times, so many jamster pop ups came up at once I had to close firefox Ctrl+alt+dlt style. Oh yeh, and to add to the madness, they had sound and acouple of times it was that damned frog! When wll it end?

It's highly likely they put Adware on your machine to cause it. They seem quite an unscrupulous company in the way they opperate. I mean, their way of selling you the things seems to be a 'subscription' service that forces you to pay for a certain amount a month, and require an obscure word sent to stop it. Most kids who sign up for that sort of thing can't unregister because they didn't read the small print, and therefore Jamster get a lot of money out of them.

so, I did a spyware scan after like a year, and It found 563 infections :x!

proper anti-spyware - firerewall will prevent you from these kind of attacks
EDIT: ofcourse it doesnt stop stupid users from d/l spyware/trojans/viruses

If you have a spyware proggy doing it, firefox doesnt block them, firefox only blocks normall popups you get on sites.

control panel add/remove programs and remove that queer frog program...
