I bought half-life 2 a while ago but I was pre-occupied with "Fable: lost chapters", "Age of empires III" and "Starwars: Knights of the old republic II" which I bought at the same time. (Bought them all since I was new to PC-gaming). So far I think Fable is the best, followed by AOEIII, KOTOR 2. I never played half-life but im finished installing it, and will play soon.

Is it better than Fable and AOEIII?

Yes, I think you'll like HL2 better than the others, but it could also be a matter of taste. For example, it surprises me that you like Fable better than Kotor, so I can't be certain that you'll like HL2 more, even though it's the most popular out that list.

Btw KOTOR 2 is boring as hell.. fable isn't. Well I never actually beat Kotor 2, I just played for an hour or so and said "what the hell, ign, you fooled me."

Anyway I was trying to find my f....umm.. my stupid cd key and i finally did. So now I can finally play half-life.
