JD? Sounds like Jack Daniels to me. If you based your story on that alcoholic beverage, I'd probably have a look at it. Other than that, it's too vague to be interesting.

Could be a fun idea that. Your in a bar, you've got to run around finding shots of jack daniels, your vision blurs and your controls go wobbly after each shot, person to drink the most without falling over wins

Hehe, sounds like a plan. You could have something like one of those dance-machine interfaces, where you have to follow the arrows to stand up. As you drink more, the patterns become more complex to follow.
Ohh, and a 'beer goggles' subgame. The more you drink, the more attractive the NPCs become. Whomever pulls the biggest minger at the end of the game has a massive points deduction. Extra points for vandalism of random public buildings on the journey home.
