joaquin phoenix crashes and burns on letterman

wow he is so horrible. i feel like destroying my copy of Signs right now

What! you haven't done so already?! that movie was horrible!

Ewww.... I feel ashamed posting to you.

haha, wow.

Obviously had to watch the Farrah Fawcett interview as well...holy crap

This video is not available in your country. I want to see the whole interview. :(

edit: NM got it.

that was...uhh...wow. What do you expect to happen when you go onto this show stoned as hell?

I lol'd quite a bit, especially when he was like "you're doin fine" to letterman, and when he took out the gum and put it under his desk.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, we've all seen the Clowny Clown Clown video, guy still tries to hard.

Independent films where you make two retarded people actually have sex for the film, come on man, are you that desperate for attention?

Still like some of his stuff though.

I think this is all some huge farce, and Casey Affleck, a close friend of his, is involved.

This. Him and Casey are making a documentary about his new rap career. It's just one big act and theres a ton of parts in the video where you can see Joaquin wants to burst out laughing.

I caught it last night when it aired and It was pretty sweet.

Letterman got burned. Got gum stuck to his desk.

I saw the vid first without reading the article. I thought the whole time that 'quin didn't show up and they got some guy to play dummy for him.

He's such a fag, more of a douchebag than Colin Farrell now to me.

Felt sorry for Letterman there.

Wow, has to be an act, especially after seeing his attempts at rap. I'll bet you the documentary is going to be a jab at the rap/hip-hop industry and how people will lap up any old shit, the crowd seems to love his drunken slurs in the videos I've watched...

I thought Letterman played it off pretty well, though. "Sorry you couldn't join us" was pretty classic.

He seemed to come alive after the interview though, taking off his sunnies and talking to Letterman. Would like to know what he said.

Yeah, it's most likely an act with all this documentary stuff. If it isn't then he's an idiot, but right now he's just got a lot of my respect and laughs for pulling that off.

"You're a dead man, mother****er."
