I can't believe that the angry video game nerd was right! Rambo 4 is now John Rambo!! Albeit it looks awesome.
 
Well this was unexpected, hope it can live up to the awsomeness of the first three.
 
Looks pretty true to the originals. Stallone does look kinda stupid and old though.
 
Christ on a bike! That 50 cal. kill at the start was fuppin' BRUTAL.
 
If the whole 80s over the top gore is there through the entire movie, than im there opening night.

but then again this is a sequel to a movie about saving the poor defenseless mujahideen from the evil commie loving russians


next we'll have Steven Segal back looking to settle the score in "Steven Segal's Killed by Death 3: the unemployed years"

That Trailer had more gore then the whole Hostel movie... LOL im in!
 
That actually looked better than I'd expect it to look! The amount of gore was awesome xD

You're just bitter because you can't kill an army with a knife and bow.
 
That movie is going to be ****ing awesome. It probably won't be worth much as an actual film, but it looks like a damn good action movie. Watching Sly walk around and brutally slaughter the indigenous population of a country is just plain fun. And for what it's worth it seems like they put a bit of effort into creating a "not as bad as it really should have been" backdrop for all the violence.

not every movie has to be educating,sometimes mindless is okay too.
 
Frankly I'm more anticipating Son of Rambow, about two kids making a sequel to First Blood.

I loved el mariachi and Desperado; two examples of over the top mindless fun movies ..at least they were smart enough not to take themselves seriously
 
Rambo 1 was pretty serious and dramatic. They ruined it when they didn't go through with the original ending (Rambo dying) and turned into a ridiculous movie series.

Saying that, Rambo 4 actually looks pretty good. And of course, the action is ****ing awesome.

Does he get killed at the end or does he kill himself? I remember hearing about it ages ago, but i never bothered to actually find out. Either one would have been an epic ending.
 
I believe the National Guard was supposed to shoot him up when he came out of the station. It was in the original novel too, him dying.
 
oh ok. I had a vague memory of being told he shot himself at the end in the novel, but i'd prefer him going down in a hail of gunfire...
 
Rambo 1 was your best kinda of action film, the plot was really solid, the speech at the end was really good, showed why he is fighting so hard and gave an insight into what all the soldiers who fought in nam' went through when they got home.

The next two just sort of threw storyline out the window, but the action was still ****ing awsome, which was enough to make them brilliant to watch.

Murdoc: 'Rambo, where are ya, we'll come and get you''
Rambo: 'Murdoc.... *tightens his grip on the microphone* im coming to get you

Before smashing the microphone in the guards face.
