Which john woo's movie is the best ?? Can you introduce me some plz ?? I saw bullet in the head yestoday, and i found it has a great plot, i want to see more of john woo's movies.

Well... there are 'The Killer' and 'Hard Boiled' plus the 'For A Better Tomorrow'-Parts...

I personally like 'Hard Boiled' best...

(Replacement Killers was great too, I'd say ^^ at least Woo was producer or so)

Hard Boiled for sure - cult action at its best.

I've only seen two of the most recent ones, Face: Off and Mission Impossible 2

I hated the 2nd Mission Impossible (the action scenes were very well coreographed but the love story didn't work for me) but Face: Off is one of my faves. A true action movie.

Debating whether or not to see the recently released Paycheck.

EDIT: had to fix the Face: Off title because it changed th O to :O

ok i'm going to get hard boiled. I like face off. mission impossible is only good in the last part.

If you want to see pure John Woo, see Hard Boiled, or A Better Tomorrow II, those are my absolutle favourites. The last fight sequence in ABT2 will knock anyone's socks off! The Replacement Killers is closer to John Woo's classic formula than Paycheck and M:I2. Out of those two Paycheck is the more enjoyable movie, but it is NOT a blood fest action movie. There is a huge rift between M:I and the second movie that I thought was WAY too overblown. I suspect John Woo went Hollywood-crazy. The Corrupter is an interesting movie, with the classic John Woo ending.

I thought Face/Off was entertaining...

*looks around*

nobody else?

NOBODY?!

okay, I'll leave...

Get "The Killer". It's alot better than Hard-Boiled in my opinion. The action is alot more tense, and there's actually more emotion and connection for the characters and what they do. There's plenty of action, plenty of brains, and surprisingly plenty of heart.
The ending is spellbinding and devastating at the same time. It's Woo noir at its best, don't miss it.

Paycheck sucked IMHO.
i was bored during the X-mas holidays season and went to see it despite knowing it would probably suck.. and not because of John Woo.. but mainly because of Ben Affleck.

seriously... Ben Affleck sucks.. had the lead actor been someone else, the movie might have been half decent.. but.. mehhh.

As far as action goes, I think Hard-Boiled is maybe the best. The Killer is good, also.

Hard Boiled has the better action, The Killer has more emotion. I'd say.

And M:I2 & Face/Off aren't 'John-Woo-and-Chow-Yun-Fat's-Movies'. :>

IMO, the only good thing about Face/Off were those golden Springfields :D
