erk another movie of a decent cartoon? I seriously think the cartoon network should just rename itself to the movie channel. Or better yet stop making movies that look good in the boardroom but end up running out of steam five minutes in They became a bad idea right after Dexters Lab got one. (though admitedly that one was pretty cool...)

oh ffs. Ok he was good in The Mummy Returns cause he was mostly CG and his sole acting ability of raising an eyebrow was fine in that. But please, As Johnny Bravo? I think the casting director needs to get tested for color blindness.. considering The character ain't black.

And i couldn't think of anyone better who could play a cocky, wise cracking vain arsehole, such as The Rock, as that has been his wrestling character since he started as Rocky Maivia.

The rock is near enough black to not be white like the character, samoa whatever, its blind casting, like casting a female in the role of bill gates.. who's writing this anyway, paul anderson? lol

they cast him cause Johnny and he both raise their eyebrow when looking directly at the viewer, so naturally he was the best choice, regardless of the fact he's the wrong color, build, voice characteristics, that the bravo style hair wouldn't work on him.

Can't wait until some bright spark makes a live action powerpuff girls with Charles Dance as bubbles and The Undertaker as Mojo jojo..

Uwe Boll would be my first guess, he got sick of game to movie conversions, now he is doing a cartoon to movie conversion.

The Tom and Jerry movie was pretty excellent, especially when the director gave them voices.

Yep exactly, its just a bad, unexcusable casting decision.

Bruce Campbell layered in inches of makeup could have done a better job easily (ok so im just picking him cause he was bloody brilliant as Elvis in Bubba Hotep lol) But yeah, surely they coulda found someone better, even someone unknown instead of jumping on the bandwagon. The Rock can I suppose pull off action flicks, but I just can't see this without it being a disaster.

I think a lot of people do underestimate the Rock, he does look pretty good in the up and coming Be Cool movie with John Travolta.

Brendan Fraser? Eww no. He is one of the worst actors ever. The Rock was quite good in Welcome to the Jungle. He could be quite good as JB. Aslong as he has the huge blonde hair.
