Ok, after looking through the X3 thread, I decided to get it however I think that a joystick would be better than a mouse and keyboard. So I’m asking for any advice on a joystick because I know nothing about them.

Also I’m also thinking of getting a new keyboard because I’m fed up with my current one that’s wireless. I’m not sure if to get Saitek Eclipse keyboard or wait for new Logitech keyboard or even the new Microsoft keyboard.

I have the Saitek Eclipse keyboard. Little bit wierd to use at first, buttons are hard to press. But now i'm used to it and the light do help if its dark, but my keyboard is under my monitor, so they light from the monitor is enough to see the keys, so i dont really use the light. The keys are really quiet when you press them too.

To me though, a keyboard is a keyboard... they're all the same really.

Theseare the main joysticks I’m looking at however all the difference that I can see if that one is wireless and ones not. There is also the force feedback one too. Should I get one of these or a different one?

I have the wired Evo listed there and it works great.

Personal preference, but I'll take a keyboard and mouse over a joystick anyday. I've a MS Bluetooth Elite, and it does the job. What I like about it (it is, just a keyboard after all), is that the Bluetooth means there is not base station. It's truly wireless. If your PC doesn't have built-in Bluetooth, the USB dongle is about as big and unobtrusive as a thumb drive. The Logitech Bluetooth setup still has a base station.
