I watch Judge Judy almost everyday. I love how she smacks down stupid people and yells at them constantly. It's the best thing in the world to see dumb people get shot down by a little old lady.

I would love to have a job like her's and do that all day. I would never get tired of that. She gets paid to do that stuff!! We need more people like her in the world.

I don't get how that show's legal. Sometimes she doesn't even listen to all the facts then just lays the smackdown. They must go to a proper court if they appeal the decision or something.

My roommate watches every judge show on TV everyday, he even records them and will rewatch them later in the day, or the next day before that days judge's come on.

They are all stupid, and some are probably scripted. It's not even fun to watch, because it's the same thing every ****ing time:
-he did something bad to me!
-it wasn't my fault!
-I calmy and peacefully requested he fix the situation, and he yelled and screamed and raped me and killed my pet dog!
-that's a lie

That's because that's basically how every court session is. It's not like the movies where cases are miraculous and have huge twists and amazing moments.

Quite. I've watched three court cases and one of them was a stalemate and the other two were really quite clear-cut as the evidence mounted against the defendant into a huge accumulating snowdrift of JUSTICE.

The sad part is that if you ever presented a case to Judge Judy, she would yell at you and shoot you down, just like she yells at and shoots down everyone who goes to her court (even if you think you are not dumb compared to the people who go to her court). Although you might have an argument, since only an idiot would go on national television to present a case in the first place.

So you want to be a judge? Great! Go for it! But what makes you think people ought to be humiliated just because they are dumb? They were born that way, it's not their fault. It's like saying people with down syndrome should be made fun of because they were unable to be born with more brains. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of their level of intelligence.
