Judith Mossman does not enter lift

Hi Guys,

I am playing Half Life 2 and I am in level Black Mesa East. Now here I meet Judith Mossman and follow her to the lift. When the lift door opens she just stands there and then nothing happens. As she doesnt enter the lift the game does not go ahead.

I tried few things life reloading that level or making a quick save after the bug but none helped.

What do i do guys???

Are you using the Steam version or nonsteam one? We fully support both.

I think I am using Steam version. By the way whats the diff between the two??
Anyways I was able to solve the problem by saving and loading that section.

Well, the nonsteam version is a pirate version. Rabarber was trying to catch you lying. AI disruption is a common manifestation of THE PIRATE SYNDROME.

I'm pretty sure you're suppose to enter the lift while she's still talking or let her enter it first or something. I never had the problem, though.

I think if you enter while she's talking she'll follow you in. If multiple reloads haven't solved it, there's probably something wrong with the map; validating the game in Steam should fix it. Right-click HL2, select Properties, go to the "Local files" tab, and click "Verify integrity of game cache".

Yep. But that doesn't seem to stop others going "zomg! u cant say that! u r just trolling" to me, so I thought I'd try it out for myself and see what all the fuss is about. I figure if people can try to get me "in trouble" for petty crap, I'll see if the shoe fits on the other foot. Just checking how double the standards are around here...
