[2032 - Somewhere in the Pacific]

[A Earth dominated by freak weather conditions]

(Player) has just returned from a meeting about the issues of the weather. Returning back the US in a Helicopter, there is a freak lightning strike in broad daylight without any warning whatsoever. The pilot gets electrocuted, which cause the Chopper to head towards a near-by island...

You wake up, and it is still daylight. You search the deceased pilot for any usefull equipment. You find a knife, water bottle, and a compass which appears to be malfunctioning. As you climb out, your skin starts to burn, you feel dizzy, and you head straight for the shade under some palm trees. Going out into the sun, does not seem a very good idea.

Due to the freak weather, temperatures have risen a considerable amount. More then the body can take.

As the game progresses, your mind becomes numb, and the line between reality and fantasy is blurred. You think these creatures aren't real, or are they?.....

Jungle-Fever is a HL2 Single Player Mod. What we need to get started is...

o Coders
o Modellers
o Texture Artists
o Experienced Mappers
o Animators

Help is well appreciated :upstare:

you might want to give a little info on what the mod is about, i don't think anybody is going to join without knowing what they're going into..

o HUD features a heartrate
o The higher your heartrate the less accurate your aim will be
o Staying in dark places tints the screen blue, and your heartrate is lowered
o If you get attacked unsupectedly your heartrate rises
o Standing out in the sun causes you to lose hp, and causes you to hallucinate
o You can check how much water you have by viewing the weapon. Over time, the HUD Icon which shows how much H20 you have gets "forgotten"

If this idea gets done right it could be awesome.. Great ideas.. Good luck with it. Sadly I'm already working on a mod.

This is actually one of the most creative ideas I've seen in a long time. Best of luck with finding a team, it's good to finally see someone willing to try something different than "Terrorists vs. Counterterrorists", "Zombies", or "WW2".
