Just another "Potential release date" thread

OK, this is a very small bit of information but since I don't have a credit card (**** you Steam) I re-pre-ordered the game at Amazon. I have been given a dispatch date of 1 November.

Here's hoping

Hmmm, I bet VUG would want to realease HL2 before WoW (Nov 2) and Halo 2 (Nov 9). I know that WoW is going to be published by VUG but if HL2 is realeased before most games than VUG will get alot of money from retail because HL2 is more anticipated than most modern games. WoW will not get as much money to VUG than HL2. Realeasing HL2 before Halo 2 is in my book pretty smart, but I am just rambling on about nothing...

Gamestop handles the 1 november date too, but i guess its up entirely to vivendi.

Amazon gave me a dispatch date of Oct 5 for Raising the Bar, then when that date came they sent me a mail saying "The date has changed. Unfortunately Rasing the Bar has not been released yet". so don't get ur hopes up.

retailers don't know any more than we do. this is "just another potential release date" thread.

Retailers don't know a thing I'm afraid, wait for the date from Valve.
